Danzy Buchanan Park Facilities Upgrade

Moreton Bay Regional Council will be carrying out works to upgrade facilities at Danzy Buchanan Park in the coming weeks.

Works are scheduled to commence at the start of March and are expected to be completed within two weeks, weatherpermitting.

A new park shelter to provide shade to existing seating alongside the tennis court is due to be installed.

“I am pleased this project is about to commence following requests from local residents”, Councillor Julie Greer said.

“The project will provide additional park infrastructure for local residents and visitors who use the park and wish to watch play on the tennis courts.”

“Once complete, this project will help make the Moreton Bay Region an even better place to live, work and play.”

In order to minimise any disruptions, works will be undertaken between 7am to 6pm where possible.

When works commence, Council asks that you observe the instructions of work crews and road signage, and apologises for any inconvenience that you may encounter.
