Mango Hill Progress Association

Mango Hill Progress Association (est. 1986) is a community non-profit group with it’s origins in the Mango Hill Village.

With a focus on community a mantra of “improving the quality of life”, the Association maintains a “sense of community” through regular meetings, family events, local and online newsletter publications. The Mango Hill News is a regular hard copy newsletter which is distributed to over 800 households and is also archived online at http://www.mangohillprogress.org/newsletter.html

The Association seeks to work closely with all levels of Government and advocates effectively for improvements to existing facilities and raises issues in the public interest with the aim of improving the quality of life for existing and future residents.

Monthly meetings provide the opportunity for input and discussion of important issues currently affecting our local community. The Mango Hill Progress Association is respected for its community involvement in local events such as festivals, youth programs, annual Christmas Carols and fundraising activities for both this community and charitable organizations.

The Progress Association maintains and operates the Mango Hill Community Centre on behalf of the Moreton Bay Regional Council. The Community Centre includes a tennis court and a full size basketball court. These facilities provide opportunities for recreation and celebration and are used by a variety of community groups and individuals for local social events.
