New service changes to bus routes 681 and 682 will allow more than 1300 Capestone residents better access to public transport.

The new stop will connect residents of the new Capestone development with Mango Hill train station and North Lakes bus station.

Route 681 and 682 loop services operate seven days a week and also travel to North Lakes Health Precinct, North Lakes State College and the Mango Hill Market Place.

Chris Whiting MP for Murrumba has said that the bus routes, 681 and 682 (North Lakes to Mango Hill AM & PM) will now be stopping along Capestone Boulevard, beginning on Monday 10 July 2017.

“In order to provide greater access for the community, Hornibrook bus lines will service an indented bus stop on Capestone Boulevard, east of the Kinsellas Road East and Capestone Boulevard Intersection, near Campbell Drive.

“Capestone residents will benefit from access to Mango Hill Station, and additional travel options to Brisbane.

“Routes 681 and 682 continue on to the North Lakes Bus Station, giving commuters more options when taking public transport.

Hornibrook bus lines will also be making minor amendments to 22 current school bus routes to better reflect on time running and increased existing residential population catchment areas

The route changes are scheduled to take effect from the start of term 3 on Monday 10 July.

TransLink, in conjunction with its bus operator Hornibrook Bus Lines, will notify the affected schools of these changes.
