Don’t forget to vote tomorrow!

Mango Hill Community Centre is your local Polling booth for the Federal Election on Saturday, the 2nd of July.

The Mango Hill Progress Association will be holding a Sausage Sizzle on election day until just after lunch with the aim of raising funds for our nominated Charities, ‘Operation Shoe Box’ and ‘Project Linus’.

They’ll also be selling tickets to win a family of four accommodation package at the Tangalooma Resort worth $1200!! Inclusive of a whale watching cruise, tickets are only $5 each!

Friends and Supporters of the Mango Hill Progress Association are invited to celebrate their 30th Anniversary on the 16th of July!! Tickets are also available for purchase tomorrow for the celebration which includes a sit down dinner of spit roast and music supplied by the Moreton Celtic Fiddle Club at the Mango Hill Community Centre for $25. There will be a Lucky Door Prize which includes a $200 Coles Food Voucher from Mango Hill Market Place and a $50 Catering Voucher from Gordon at Stellarossa, also located at Mango Hill Market Place (numbers are limited due to space, so get in early!)

If you’re working tomorrow, a pre-polling voting centre is open today at North Lakes Central, 53 Endeavour Blvd, North Lakes.

To be eligible to use the pre-polling voting centre you:

• are outside of the electorate where you are enrolled to vote
• are more than 8km from a polling place
• are travelling
• are unable to leave your workplace to vote
• are seriously ill, infirm or due to give birth shortly (or caring for someone who is)
• are a patient in a hospital and cannot vote at the hospital

The centre is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm
